本年4月29日付　阿部先生の日本海軍の当時世界に誇れる伊２５・２６号艇のＣａｎａｄａ　Vancouver島攻撃の日本各新聞の記事の紹介を拝読。被害地のCanada の新聞は果たしてどの様に発表して居るか早速調べました結果取り急ぎ下記の通りご報告申し上げます。

A proeling enemy submarine wa hunted in the waters off British Columbia'scoast tonight after delivering a half hour, but harmless, shelling attack on the remote West Coast radio telegraph station in the first direct assault of the war on Canada's shores.

云々と続き此処時間に攻撃がは土曜日の１０：３５（1.35AM EDT) より約
三十分に渡り攻撃を受けたがあまり岸に近寄っては居らなかった様で海岸。、岩等に当たり旨く飛んだ弾でRadio 局の窓が数枚割れたに留まった・
